Singular or plural

We have been doing a lot of tasks manually, but with the new software, these processes will turn into the/an un-manned operation.

I wrote the above sentence just to make sure some usages are correct.

Does either 'the' or 'an' fit in the sentence?
Or should the plural 'operations' be used?
Finally, does my sentence sound okay to you?
Thanks a lot.

"We have been doing a lot of tasks manually, but with the new software, these processes will turn into an unmanned operation / will turn into unmanned operations."

("the unmanned operation(s)" is not right here.)

The sentence is OK, but I think I'd prefer "... these processes will become automated."

Thanks so much, Mr W.
Mr Wordyhese processes will become automated
Agree, I've thought of it, too.

I suggest u to use ' an un-manned operation' as the subject 'these processes' will be considered as singular in this sentence. But I suggest u to go through the following sentence too.

"......................................................,these processes are automated"

I think it will be more attractive if u use "these processes are automated", please try it.
