Singular and plural together

Hi!


Could you please take a look at the sentence below and especially the underlined part. Is this fine? And maybe the sentence needs other corrections?


Sliding doors are a charming solution for open-space or small-area homes when there is a need to separate a room in zones, e.g. this allows to separate a living zone from a bedroom or kitchen.

Sliding doors are a charming solution --> looks fine. It's the case of Subject-Verb agreement. Subjects is plural "doors", so the verb is plural
