Single transfer

Hi!

If a "single transfer" is a ticket of leaving (e.g. a subway single transfer), so how do we call a ticket to go and come back? Is it a "return ticket"/ "A round trip ticket" ? And is this name used for a flight trip, bus and subway?

Thank you,
Rose

Hi, Clive.

Thanks. Is there any difference between an "one-way ticket" and a "single transfer" ticket? Or are they synonyms? Because I've heard that a "single transfer" is a ticket of leaving with connection.

Thanks,
Rose

Hi,
I really don't know.

I don't live in Prague.

Looks like a bad translation.
In England a "one way" is also called a "single".

Neither I! So you mean that it is a specific term of that country?!

Thanks,

Possibly, yes.

Hi Bokeh!

But in England this "one-way ticket" also includes a connection/connexion?

Best wishes,

If you get on the London Metro (Tube) going from point A to point B, needing to change trains several times that is still known as a "single".
