Single Quotes to Quote an Internet Link?

I see a lot that people will put in single quotes the name of a link on the internet. For example, it might say, "click on the 'Contact Us' link." Is this correct? or would it be, "click on the "Contact Us" link"?

I think it is a choice but, if I were using 'quotes within quotes', then I would try to make them different - make one pair of quotes single and the other double:

- I might say "click on the 'Contact Us' link."

- I might say 'click on the "Contact Us" link.'

If you don't do that, your reader may momentarily think that the quote has come to an end:
