Hi
A girl while describing her childhood says" Those were the days I moved around in single piece ( referring to her dress.)
Is this expression acceptable?

'moved around' is a little odd, but not incorrect. 'went around' is another way of saying it, but no less odd to my ear. I would bring in the verb 'wear
