Single Paragraph. Proof for errors?

One of the reasons for having old articles is because now there are numerous undergoing studies evaluating the efficacy of lasers. Some articles are in press, and some studies are getting close to completion. What I found out from the meeting is that there is not a CDT code for laser's therapy; consequently, surgeons are taking conventional codes for billing purposes. The availability for lasers is influenced by the local facility budget and not the patient needs. Affording laser surgery is no different that conventional surgery. Talking to my colleagues I found out that they are not as popular as you think, only two clinics are using them the National Naval Medical Center (periodontics department) and now my clinic. The price for a reputable laser unit cost is between. $50,000-80,000. My opinion is that lasers are here to stay and we, as professionals need to keep up with technology.

Hi, I have a number of concerns about this paragraph, but the main one is that it seems to completely lack a clear focus. Sorry to say so, but it just seems to be a lot of miscellaneous comments tossed together. Start with a sentence that tells the reader clearly and directly why you are writing this, and then arrange your points to provide more details that relate to this main point.
