Sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual

When we let freedom ring ... all of God's children ... will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:
Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!

Hi,

Is it right to view the bolded in in the above as "with?" Thanks.

Right. (using the words)

As you would say, "To speak in the language of my native land" may be viewed as "To speak with the language of my native land."
