Since the video on my TV has gone out

Since the video on my TV has gone out for the third time this week, I am afraid there may be no early resolution of the problem. The only thing I see is "snow."

Hello,
I have a problem understanding the two blue part:

1. "video" has many definitions.

Since the video on my TV has gone out = means what? does it mean the TV program is not showing or a machine that plays video tapes is out?

Thank you.

The electronics that delivers the picture is not working. You can't see a picture.

If the audio had gone out, it would mean that the electronics that delivers the sound was not working, and you wouldn't be able to hear anything coming from the TV.
