Please tell me if I am correct.
"It has been like this since recent years."
Here since recent years sounds odd.
I think after since the time needs to stated specially, as, since 2010

The phrase "since recent years" is by rule, acceptable. With your statement, however, "It has been like this since recent years" is also highly acceptable.
