Since or As (sentence in motivation letter)

In my motivation letter, I would like to write something like this:
"Since/As your company is developing the most efficient engines, I would be glad to be part of your team."
Since or As (or sth else?), which one is correct and suits better to a motivation letter?
Thank you for your help!

"Because your company is developing the most efficient engines, I would be glad to be part of your team"
Doesn't sound right to me, does it? As far as I know, you would put only "because of" in the beginning of a sentence.

That is not true.

Okay, good to know!
So would you say: "Because your company is developing the most efficient engines, I would be glad to be part of your team" is correct? And is it better than to write "Since" or "As" in a motivation letter?
Thank you for your help!

I would be excited to be part of your team, because you are developing the most efficient engines.

Thank you for your reply!
What about:
"Your company is developing the most efficient engines, therefore/so/... I would be excited to be part of your team."
Would that be suitable as well?

OK. You can also say "that's why"

"Your company is developing the most efficient engines; that's why I would be excited to be part of your team."
