Since forever ?

This expression sounds illogical to me...
"Forever"is about duration afaik, and after "since" a certain point in the past should follow..

So in this expression, the speaker seems to be confusing duration and point in time.
It is similar to saying, "I've known him since for 100 years."

Or am I mistaken?

No, you're right, but it is supposed to sound that way. It's jocular. It sounds that way to everybody, even the speaker.
