'since' and 'then'

Is the use of 'since' and 'then' right in the following sentence:

Since there are only two fluids in the reservoir, i.e., oil and water, then .....

According to me, the "then" after the comma is not needed because there is a since in the beginning of the sentances. ( I myself must check Them !! ) Thanks, KRK

According to me, the "then" after the comma is not needed because there is a since in the beginning of the sentances. I not very sure about the explanations but be sure to check the lessons to understand better.( I myself must check Them !! )
