Since

Hi,

Is this grammatically correct?

1. Since the motor replacement last year, I had not used it until last weekend.

Thanks

Maybe, but it is not a great-sounding sentence. I suggest that in everyday speech the following would be more commonly heard. Last weekend was the first time I (had) used it since the motor replacement last year.
