since

Hi,

just curious if "since' is used correctly in the sentence and if it needs to be rephrased better. "I was wondering if the position has been filled since it has been over a month since its posting was taken off the website."

thanks

"since" is used twice in that sentence, in two different ways. I'm not sure which instance you are referring to, but both are correct. The repetition is, however, slightly noticeable, and for stylistic reasons some people might want to reword the sentence to avoid it.
