Since

Hello,

I have not seen her since last many years.
Is "since last many years" correct here?

I have problems using "since". I know that we can use simple past tense, specific day, month, year etc after "since", but the phrases starting with "last" with temporal word are confusing.

could any one here explain it?

Thanks.
