In the sense of prescriptive grammar, 'since' can take the perfect continuous, is it right? i.e. He has been living here since 1994. I just need to confirm it because I just found the counter judgement about this exmaple as false (though that resource is not much qualified, anyway.)

The present continuous is fine with "since": It has been raining since five o'clock. CB
