Simpler/easier

Preparing meals becomes simpler, quicker, and easier.

Just come a cross above sentence. I'm not sure if it's ok to say "simpler and easier".
Does it sound natural to you as native speaker? And does these two give any difference in meaning?

Thanks in advance,

Sounds good to me. Sometimes simple things are not easy.
