Hi Please help me with this. She made the poster and presented it to him on his birthday. This I think is a simple sentence with compound verb- (made and presented) But I have a doubt:I remember learning that simple sentence has only one finite, whereas here there are two finite verbs, which is not in agreement with what I have learnt. (My guess-Is it still a simple sentence because both the finite verbs go with one subject?) Please help
