Simple question about a word : "enclosed"

Hi, everyone, I have a question to the word "enclosed"

I read a letter oneday and found a following sentence:
" Enclosed is our latest catalogue for your reference."

And I check up in my dictionary:
"Enclosed" can be an adjective or verb.
If that is true, I think the above sentence is wrong as the word "Enclosed" is placing at the "Noun" position.

The sentence should be corrected in such ways:
1)I enclose our latest catalogue for your reference.
2)The enclosed latest catalogue is for your reference.

Can anyone tell me whether I am right or wrong?

Thanks!

so which part of speech is the "enclosed" ?
adjective? verb? using past participle?

The verb in the sentence is:
is enclosed

It is present tense, passive voice.

Enclosed can also be considered as the past participle having an adjectival function - in this case it could be described as a "statal passive".
