Which ones are grammatically correct?

e.g
' I qualify for the job'
' I am qualified for the job '
'His account of incident varied from others'
'His account of accident was varied from others'

Some verbs could either be used in a simple form or in the form of to be+adjective , Which use is correct and why?

This is quite rare and seldom used. The modal is common:

eg.

I am qualified for the job. - This is very, very common.

The passive is incorrect.
