Simple present Vs. Present continuous

Hi,

Sometimes I get confused whether I should use simple present or present continuous in a situation. I know that native speakers prefer one over the other in certain situations. Consider the following pairs. Which options are better in the pairs? It would be great if you could add some commentary with your choices.

1. Does this bother you?

2. Is this bothering you?

3. How does the delivery schedule look now?

4. How is the delivery schedule looking now?

Thanks,

MG.
