Simple present vs present continous

Hi all,

I would like to ask how do I use this 2 tenses, namely simple present and present continous.

Example:

I eat dinner everyday.

I am eating dinner now.

Thanks!

Cheers,

Hi. Present simple describes an action that happens for a long time, but continuous tense describes the action that is happening at the moment of speaking for a short time around now. Cheers

I get up at six o'clock everyday.

I don't see them very often.

We simply use presen
