Simple Present - Present Continuous

Hi everybody,

Let's assume English course perod: 2010 - 2012. Could you please tell me which sentences are correct?

#1 I learn English.

or

#2 I am learning English.

Teacher: Where are you from?

Student: I am from Texas. or

I am coming from Texas.
