Simple present oder present progressive

Hello everybody..

do I say: How are you getting on these days
How do you getting on these days (my teacher's solutuion)
How do you get on these days?

I think the first is the correcht answer.

Correct. The first is the correct answer. (Your teacher obviously is not a native speaker!)

The first is correct. The second is not correct.

The third is not very likely. It's possible in, for example "How do you get on with your in-laws these days", though I think the progressive form would be at least as likely.
