Simple past or past continuous

I wonder which is right below:

I met Peter at the airport yesterday. I went to Paris. Peter went to LonDon.

I met Peter at the airport yesterday. I was going to Paris. Peter was going to LonDon

Both of them are correct except for the spelling of "London."
I met Peter at the airport yesterday. I went to Paris. Peter went to London. (Do you mean the large city in the UK?)
