Simple or complex sentence?

I met with 3 sentences in a grammar book. I couldn't guess them whether there were simple or complex sentence. Here are the sentences :
1. I don't know what he will do.
2. this is just what I wanted.
3. I expect that it will rain.
Thank you very much!

Don't guess. There are two answers (simple/complex). If you guess, 50% of the time you will be wrong.

Instead, look for the verbs. Look for the subjects. A simple sentence has only one pair
