What type of sentence is this: simple, complex, or compound?
"I think it’s best to brainstorm, write ideas down, and create an outline when writing an essay."

EC1 I think | it’s best to brainstorm, write ideas down, and create an outline | when writing an essay . With all those clauses, it doesn't look simple to me. I don't see more than one independent clause.
