Grammar

Simple, complex and compound sentences

Hi, everyone!

I have some questions about "advanced" grammar. Anyone could help me? I know some grammar, but English confuses me a bit.

I need to identyfy if these sentences are simple, complex or compound

1. Pauline says there is nothing relaxing about chopping wood, swatting mosquitoes, and cooking over a wood stove.
2. Bruno tends to get bored sitting on the beach, watching the waves, getting sand in his swimsuit, and reading detective novels for a week.
3. This year, after a lengthy, noisy debate, they decided to take separate vacations.

The professor gave me the answers, but I have questions about the grammar.
