Signign a memo on someone else's behalf

Hi

I read a post about signing on someone's behalf but my question is, when it's a memo and you have to do that but on the top part, not at the bottom, when your boss' name is on the "From" part, do you do the same or is there another way to do this?

Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Hi, No, don't change the 'from' part. It's still from your boss, even when you sign it for him. Clive

I know that, what I meant was the initials on the side.

Hi,

No, don't put your initials at the 'From' part.

Clive,
Do you initial it at all?
