Grammar

signature or plural

Hi

When my friend showed me a photo of her niece, I wondered why a newborn baby/newborn babies always looked cute.

If this sentence is correct, can I use either the signature or the plural? Thank you.

Ah yes. Thank you!

I have one more question. What would you think about this?
'……, I wondered why every newborn baby looked cute.'

I wondered why a newborn baby/newborn babies always looked cute.

Much more natural is Simple Present tense, to stress that you are speaking of an 'eternal truth'..

eg I wondered why newborn babies always look cute.
eg I wondered why the sun always rises in the e

I see! That'll be one of things I need to study more. Thank you!

(I'll forget about 'every... baby' here.)
