Speech & Pronunciation

signal

Hello Emotion: smile,

I wonder why I tend to pronounce signal as "sign-al", not as "sig-nal" (I hope it is clear Emotion: stick out tongue)

I have heard "sig-nal" many times, I don't remember I have heard any "sign-al" though...

I mean is there any place where signal is pronounced as "sign-al"? or am I just pronouncing it in a wrong way?

Thanks in advance Emotion: smile

Cheers,,,

No, but it will probably take some time.
Every time you realize you said it the wrong way, repeat it out loud a lot of times... sign-al... no, ****! It's sig-nal, sig-nal sig-na,l sig-nal, sig-nal, sig-nal, sig-nal...
The way you tend to pronounce it, sign-al, will soon sound odd to you
