Shyness, not able to speak and not understaning the English Language as a child
How do I correct the inability to understand English, Speaking in front of groups of people without getting nervous. I believe as a child I was so fearful that I was not able to focus in class because I thought I would make mistakes. This I believe I block myself from Learning things in school.

Everybody makes mistakes. Why should you be different? Make it a game to make as many mistakes as you want. No matter what, just keep talking. The more you do it, the less nervous you'll be.
