Hi,
I could not find anywhere on the pronunciation of "shrillest". Does it sound like "shrillist" or "shrillest"?

Those who speak carefully would probably use short-e as in Education. The rest of us use short-i, as in "list," or "idiot."

The reason you can't find it is probably because it's not generally used. We would say, "most shrill."
