Shrewdness = acumen

Hi,

"The fallen Cities were famous for their shrewdness in thivery."
Can I replace "shrewdness" with acumen? --- "The fallen Cities were famous for their acumen in thivery."

Thanks, AL

"Acumen" seems more commonly used than "shrewdness".
