showing repetition of something with Present Perfect

Hi to all beloved members of the Forum,
My today's question is about the PRESENT PERFECT tense;
I heard somewhere that PRESENT PERFECT can be used to show "repetition of something" , but the problem is I don't know how.
could anyone please explain(with a few examples) this usage of PRESENT PERFECT to me. I'd feel highly thankful if anyone could try to help me understand this usage.

okay sir, thanks a lot for your reply.
I have one more question which is......."could we also say 'I SAW that movie several times' without changing the meaning ?
what would be the meaning of our sentence if I said "I SAW that movie several times" in place of "I HAVE SEEN that movie several times" ?
I hope I'm not bothering you much, sir.

They are both similar, however the difference is the present perfect implies that it may continue on in the future. When you use the simple past, it talks about a finished action in the past that has no relevance to the present or future.
