Vocabulary

shower terminal

Hi all!

I have a difficult question: how do you call the sower terminal in english? That one that can be attached to a wall, or kept in hand... but especially referring to the hand shower.

I just think it;s difficult because since a couple of days ago I didn't know the name even in my language Emotion: stick out tongue
It's a thing that usually in italian is not named directly.

Another name for it is 'shower head'.

Funnily enough, in Spanish it's called an 'artichoke' (alcachofa) and in French an 'apple' (pomme)!

00for the report, in italy we call it "onion" (cipolla) or "phone" (telefono). It seems common to give that piece a name that is somewhat related to the shape, but I think it hasn't got a real name in many languages.0-
