Is this sentence grammatically correct?
- You need to show her more respect than going around telling people about the things you did with her.
(awkward subject, sorry about that)

Though it is intelligible, it isn't properly grammatically correct, in my opinion. The first part and the last part do not have the correct relationship to be properly connected by "than".
