Hi. I have made a mistake by fighting in the company premises. I need help to write a show cause letter. I need to be humble. I really need this job. I have write follow the sample in this web. Please help. Below is the content of the letter that I wrote:

Subject: SHOW CAUSE LETTER

I refer to your letter relating my misconduct on 30 September 2011. I would like to apologize for the mistake tha I have made.

On 30 September 4a.m, I have witness a derogatory from a production employee to my Direct Labour. On the same date, around 11pm, I have confronted the employee with intention to solve the problems before it get worse. I was surprise with her respond and lost control of my temper and punched her.

I agree that the mistake is mine, as I was not in control of my actions. I was suppose to consult with Human Resource or Security regarding this matter instead of bringing the matter into my own hands. I have regret for what I have done. It was the worse experience in my life and I promise to be more mature in solving problems.

I hope no disciplinary action will be taken against me. I have been committed to my job and responsibilities and honoured all discipline procedures before this incident.

I hope this is sufficient to explain my misconduct and would be grateful if the management could re-consider the desicion of disciplinary action against me.
