Show

What verb other that 'to show' should I use to avoid the repetition in this sentence:

"The Science Channel has shown some quite interesting shows lately."

(Would 'exhibit' work? Would it make sense to say: "The Science Channel has exhibited…")

Top answer

The Science Channel has featured some quite interesting shows lately. I think this is the most apropos; however, there are other words like: introduced, televised, broadcast, but not "exhibit" because that would be more like a public display. You could also change the noun: The Science Channel has shown some quite interesting programs lately.
