Shouldn't it be "seem" instead of "seems"?

According to PKR vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar, such speculations have been rife but there seems to be no issues between Anwar and Azmin, as could be seen during their recent meeting in Turkey.

Shouldn't it be "seem" instead of "seems"?
