Which are correct:


1) The first-aid box should always be close-by and easily accessible.

2) The first-aid box must always be close-by and easily accessible.

3) The first-aid box always has to be close-by and easily accessible.

It's "first aid". No hyphen. Also, it's "close by". No hyphen.

Otherwise, all three are OK. The third strikes me as less good than the others in terms of how it sounds to the ear.
