Should, Would, Could?

Help explain the meanings of these words. Please give me examples and illustrate appropriate ways of using them in sentences. Thank you!

Could I go to the movies? Is asking permission
Should I go to the movies? Shows uncertainty
Would I go to the movies.? Shows he made up his mind and he isn't going to the movies.

"Could" can be used for permission, but I'd rather use "may" instead. Take a look at this sentence: A: Doctor, could I go to the movies? B: Sure, as long as you wear dark glasses.

"Could" can be used for permission, but I'd rather use "may" instead. Take a look at this sentence:

A: Doctor, could I go to the movies?
B: Sure, as long as you wear dark glasses. You have to protect your eyes for a couple of weeks after the surgery.

In this case there's not necessarily a permission involved but approval.

Remember that "could" implies capacity
