Should we say "we are open to questions" or "we are open for questions"
After we give a presentation, in order to provoke listeners to ask us questions, what is the correct statement to use- "we are open to questions" or "we are open for questions"
Top answer
I think I would say, "We will open it up for questions". [ it being 'the discussion' ] Both of your suggestions sound natural enough to me.
