Should there be an apostrophe?

I have a quick grammar question.

I know that it would be "Can we meet at Tom's house for the meeting".

But, is it "Can we meet at Toms for the meeting" or "Can we meet at Tom's for the meeting"?

Answers and rationale would be most appreciated.

Yes, you need the apostrophe. It's just as shorthand way of saying "Tom's house."
