Should the level of mock tests be easier than the level of the actual IELTS test?

You have a solid chance of achieving a score of 7.0. While the exam conditions are typically more challenging than those of the mock tests, the questions are generally of similar difficulty. A jump to an overall score of 8.0 is possible but quite ambitious.

Make sure to get a good night's sleep before the exam. During the test, keep a close eye on the clock for the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections. In the Speaking test, aim to speak continuously on the topic until the examiner asks you to stop; when that happens, pause and listen carefully to the next question.
