Should "lives of everyone" be "life of everyone"?

Context:

The theme of this year’s Annual Meeting is “Science and Society,”
which reflects my passionate view that one cannot exist without the
other, that each has obligations and responsibilities for the other, and
that each is critical to the improvement of the lives of everyone with or
worried about cancer.

No. Where there is no ambiguity, good style asks for singular + singular and plural + plural.
