Should it not work ?

Should it not work

I'm using this phrase at the beginning of a sentence in the following context:
I wrote down the following action in my IPP: “I could also practise with the CD from the book ‘Sounding Better.’ Then I could try not to look at the book but only listen and repeat.” I still think this is a good way to practice my fluency. Should it not work, I'll try something else.

If you be so kind, could you tell me if 'should it not work' is a correct way of saying 'If it doesn't work.

And, if you be more kind, also check whether there are more grammatical or vocab errors in the text Emotion: wink

Hi Vince,

Yes, 'should it not work' works in your passage, but there are a couple of other mistakes:

I wrote down the following action in my IPP: “I also practised with the CD from the book ‘Sounding Better.’ Then I tried not to look at the book but only listen and repeat.” I still think this is a good way to practice for fluency. Should it not work, I'll try some
