Should it be 'that' instead of 'this'?

Hi teachers,
In relation to this part of a story:
Julia often gets up late and she got up late this morning. She showered and dressed very quickly.

Is this the appropriate answer? Or instead of 'this' I should write 'that'?
When did Julia get up late?
She got up late this morning.

Thanks in advance
