''After the big struggle , she managed to create a place where time doesn't stop/didn't stop.'' From my point of view, I think the present tense fits well in this case, but is it possible for the past tense to work as well? Could you please explain? I have been learning English for the past 11 years and usually I don't have problems even though they have occured a couple of times . I work very hard every day and I like learning more about this interesting grammar, so I also am very demanding when it comes to using the right tense. Thanks in advance!
Both tenses are possible. The past simple works because it's in keeping with the rest of the sentence. The present simple is also okay because it can be used to indicate a factual situation which still exists.
