Should I use "the" above?

Hi

Actually I was thinking of "bid" in the context of an auction where the highest bid wins.

Should I use "the" above? Please let me know. Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion, Clive.

Actually I was thinking of "bid" in the context of an auction where the highest bid wins.

BTW, on my end, the text coloring isn't working, could you think of any reason?

Hi,
Actually I was thinking of "bid" in the fine context of an auction where the highest bid wins.

BTW, on my end, the text coloring isn't working, could you think of any reason? Perhaps a problem with your browser?

The general usage is "the" plus noun plus "of" so yes, use the word "the"here.
